BioMolLab is a molecular biotechnology laboratory focused on the development of enzymes with unique and innovative properties. Our portfolio includes enzymes for molecular diagnostics and DNA amplification (such as DNA polymerases and helicases), nucleases for removing genetic material from biotechnological products and biologic drugs, as well as plastic-degrading enzymes (cutinases, esterases, PETases). We also develop engineered fluorescent proteins for environmental monitoring, including the detection of heavy metals and microplastics.
One of our key achievements is the development of several enzymes for QIAGEN, including the Saltonase nuclease for research applications in molecular biology and for bioprocessing aimed at producing nucleic-acid-free biotechnological products.
Our website will be continuously updated with information on the unique enzymes we have developed, including advanced fusion enzymes.
